Cherub Montessori Center offers a refreshing alternative to traditional day care centers.  We are located in a rural setting on two beautifully landscaped acres with lots of trees, flowers and fresh air.  Over one acre is secured for the children to play and exercise outside.

Each day begins in a loving, respectful atmosphere   We value the importance of how each child is unique, special and of great importance.  Each child is provided age appropriate child-centered Montessori learning activities designed to develop the conscious, perceptual, intellectual and imaginative growth based on individual progress.

In conclusion, Cherub's intent is to provide nothing less than the finest possible environment for the safe and healthy development of young children.  In a "home away from home" atmosphere, our dedicated staff and specialized program insure that children receive the loving care and attention they need during these crucial early development years.

In addition, we are licensed with the State, Montessori accredited, and meet or exceed the state and local requirements regarding square footage, health, safety and fire regulations.

Administrator message:

For twenty-one years I have participated in all aspects of early childhood education including developing, implementing, and administering child care programs.  In 1999, I opened Cherub because there is a a need for a learning center that enriches and challenges children and at the same time imparts honor, love of self, competence, respect for others, and instills in children a sense of self-worth and ability to act and think responsibly for themselves.

Cherub Montessori recognizes that children learn best in a carefully structured learning environment that integrates a variety of methods including learning centers, group play, and teacher-led instruction through exploration and discovery.  To achieve these goals, I have constructed a state-of-the-art classroom nestled in a rural home setting environment.  Our children have found this stimulating and comfortable with lots of space to run and play safely.  It has been very rewarding observing how the children take ownership and pride with "their school" as they progress through our program.

I have consistently received positive feedback from the parents as to how well their children respond and develop, and how my program enriches their family lives.

The hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.  I encourage parents with children ready for preschool to call and schedule a time to visit my center.
